Atrantil is a nutraceutical capsule developed by a gastroenterologist that relieves bloating and abdominal discomfort (with or without constipation or diarrhea) caused by gas in the gut. Its three natural botanical extracts work together, and the manufacturer lists everyday digestive support and immune system support.

• Three botanical extracts: Peppermint leaf, quebracho and horse chestnut extracts are formulated together in a patented molecular combination.
• Works at the source: The manufacturer states the botanicals work together and target problem bacteria and the gas they produce at the source.
• Not a probiotic or antibiotic: Atrantil is not a probiotic, antibiotic or digestive enzyme, and the manufacturer states it works differently than probiotics.

How to use: Start with two capsules three times daily, taken at the beginning of meals. Once relief is realized, the manufacturer suggests reducing to two capsules twice daily, then to two capsules daily if symptoms remain under control. For occasional use, take two capsules as symptoms occur or along with foods known to cause them. A 90-capsule bottle lasts about 15 days at the starting dose.
