GlutaShield Vanilla by Ortho Molecular is a vanilla-flavored powder designed to promote the health and barrier function of the gastrointestinal lining. It combines L-glutamine, deglycyrrhized licorice root extract (DGL), aloe vera leaf gel extract, N-acetyl glucosamine and zinc to support GI barrier health and integrity.

  • High-dose L-glutamine: Provides 4 g of L-glutamine per serving, a main source of fuel for the cells of the small intestine.
  • Licorice without glycyrrhizin: DGL is a form of licorice root specially processed to be free of glycyrrhizin.
  • Aloe vera leaf gel extract: A demulcent long known to maintain normal inflammatory balance.
  • Mucus and mineral support: N-acetyl glucosamine is a mucin precursor that supports mucus production within the GI tract, and zinc is widely recognized for its role in gut and immune health.

How to use: Mix 1 scoop (6.4 g) with water or a beverage of your choice once daily, or as recommended by your health care professional. A container holds 30 servings, about 30 days at one scoop daily. Not recommended during pregnancy or nursing.

Good to know: Does not contain shellfish, gluten, yeast, or artificial colors and flavors.
